The old school hospitality from the hosts was awesome, they greeted us outside of office hours, let us know where to find shops and eateries in the area, took us through the apartment. We had a twin deluxe room on the ground floor which was spacious and clean with comfortable beds and suited our needs. These aren't the swankiest of apartments but great value for money.

I stayed here for 40 days, during which time I was doing shift work at the hospital. The management were very considerate of my need for quiet and privacy and always very pleasant and helpful. The level of hygiene is high and I particularly enjoyed the pool, which is pristine.

Our room was on the ground floor, with good kitchen utilities. There is a washing and dryer machine in the room. A small garden with a round table and chairs which you can have your breakfast or read a book. Air conditioning was good. The owner took the trouble to explain about all the facilities including getting in and out of the premises. They also arrange an early morning taxi for us.

The hosts are friendly, easy-going and flexible in terms of check-in and check-out. They give valuable and at the same time concise information about Cairns, and, most importantly, they're ready to help in an emergency situation (like in our case, with the taxi). We enjoyed our stay!

This is a great family hotel, our room is a generous size with kitchenette, it also has a washer and dryer, comfy bed, WiFi and Foxtel included. Staff lovely and very helpful and has an awesome pool which my 5yo daughter had a ball in. We will be back!!
